Who We Are
Knuckle Down is a registered Community Interest Company delivering structured boxing coaching programmes in secondary schools across the London. We work with young people aged 11 to 16 who need more than a traditional classroom setting can offer. Through the discipline, focus, and structure that boxing demands, we give young people the tools to manage their behaviour, build their confidence, and show up differently in school and in life.
Our Story
Knuckle Down was not built in a boardroom. It was built on the understanding that some young people need a completely different kind of intervention — one that meets them where they are, speaks their language, and challenges them in ways that feel relevant and real.
Boxing provided that vehicle. The sport demands presence, discipline, and emotional control — three things that many young people aged 11 to 16 are actively struggling to develop. What began as a coaching idea rooted in lived experience quickly grew into a structured programme with a clear mission: to use boxing as a tool for genuine, measurable personal development inside schools.
That mission is what drives every session, every partnership, and every young person we work with.
To use the power of boxing coaching to build focus, confidence, and discipline in young people aged 11 to 16, delivered directly inside schools and designed to create lasting change in behaviour, attitude, and self-belief.
