The Programme

Structured, safe, and built entirely around the development of young people aged 11 to 16.

What Is The Knuckle Down Programme?

The Knuckle Down programme is a structured boxing coaching experience delivered directly inside schools across the London. Every session is purposefully designed to develop focus, confidence, and discipline in young people aged 11 to 16 through a combination of technical boxing drills and focused coaching conversations. There is no contact, no competition, and no prior boxing experience required. Just a safe, energetic, and genuinely impactful space where young people can grow.

What Happens In A Session?

Phase One

Warm Up and Activation

Every session opens with an energetic warm up that gets young people physically ready and mentally present. This phase sets the tone, establishes focus, and builds the routine and structure that young people respond to.

Phase Two

Technical Boxing

Drills The core of every session. Young people work through structured, non-contact boxing techniques that develop coordination, concentration, and physical confidence. The drills are progressive, meaning every participant experiences measurable improvement week on week.

Phase Three

Dynamic Debate

Every session includes a focused group or individual coaching moment that connects the physical work to personal development themes such as emotional control, self-belief, respect, and resilience. This is where the real transformation happens.

Phase Four

Cool Down and Reflection

Sessions close with a structured cool down and a brief reflection exercise, giving young people the space to process what they have learned and set a personal intention for the week ahead.

Who Is The Programme Designed For?

The Knuckle Down programme is designed specifically for young people aged 11 to 16 in secondary school settings. It is particularly effective for young people who are:

  • Struggling with attention deficit behaviour or poor concentration

  • Displaying low confidence or negative self-image

  • Experiencing difficulties with emotional regulation or impulse control

  • Disengaged from traditional classroom activities

  • In need of a structured and alternative outlet for energy and expression

  • Accessing SEN support or additional learning provision

The programme is inclusive by design. Every session can be adapted to meet the individual needs of participants, making it equally effective for mainstream classes, intervention groups, and SEN settings.

Inclusive By Design

The Knuckle Down programme was built with inclusivity at its core. We understand that many of the young people we work with have additional learning needs, and our sessions are specifically designed to be adapted for SEN settings without compromising on quality, structure, or impact.

Our coaches are experienced in working with young people with a wide range of additional needs, and every session plan can be tailored to ensure full participation and genuine progress for every individual in the room.
